The Miniature Pro Line Series Regulators feature relieving diaphragms or non-relieving diaghragms. A Relieving diaphragm type regulator provides more precise pressure control than piston type. This self-relieving feature protects system components from overpressurization of downstream air. The non-relieving diaphragm is to be used in circuits where back pressure build-up cannot be bled off into the atmosphere. This type of unit should be used where there is a relief valve in the circuit to protect against over-pressurization of downstream air.
